About Dean Steel Buildings Procurement

Dean Steel Buildings provides independent procurement coordination from China. This site operates separately from the original brand and holds no authorization to act as its distributor.

What the procurement service covers

Our work begins when a buyer needs comparable scope for a portal-frame building. We organize a written brief, identify suppliers for review and record the inclusions, exclusions and document status in their responses.

A supplier bid can include steel without doors or freight, while another covers a full shell at a named port. The comparison record separates those differences before the buyer evaluates totals.

Where verification sits

Capabilities, certificates and compliance need documentary verification for each request. The chosen supplier supplies the manufacturing evidence and the buyer’s project professionals review local requirements and acceptance.

The process record can contain the supplier screening notes, quote comparison, inspection checklist and shipment document checklist. Ask for a sample layout to see how a missing field or revised drawing is tracked.

Four review points

Drawing freeze

Use the drawing register to check which clear span, eave height and bay spacing each supplier priced. A later geometry change requires a fresh bid basis.

Traceable steel

Link each sampled steel heat number to the material certificate and piece mark. Record a missing link as an open item for the supplier or inspection provider.

Install order

Clarify who prepares foundations, unloads bundles and controls temporary bracing. The project team can then identify which interface documents are required before delivery.

Exposure match

Tell bidders whether the building faces salt, process fumes or routine indoor exposure. Ask them to state coating preparation, specified thickness and how they propose to repair cut edges.

Request a procurement review

Send a basic project brief to start. If a supplier claims a particular fabrication qualification or test result, ask that its scope and date be captured in the comparison so the buyer can verify it.
